Socks

Before I had kids, I never lost a sock. I don't think I even ever lost a ball point pen. 3 kids later, this is what was left over after some routine laundry recently. You know, 6 or 7 loads.

I think I've got the matches to a couple of them here. My single sock drawer is growing...

People always say that the dryer eats socks, but it's really the washer. We had our washer stop working the other day, and the repair guy found a little toddler sock stuck in the motor. They're small enough to get underneath the agitator stem and get sucked into the drain. Do you have a top-loading or front-loading washer? I rarely lost socks with a front loader, but now I think it's easier to lose small socks with a top-loader...
