Spare Parts - Dreamer Design

It is done. We have started stripping the Dreamer Design Double stroller for parts. I send a wheel to NH to a runner who needed the part. I've put a tire onto my single jogger when I got a flat yesterday. (Not just a flat inner tube. There was actually a hole in the outer wheel!)

It used to be really easy to get replacement parts for a Dreamer Design. They had really good customer service at their 1-800 number, but now they are out of business, so too bad. If you are in need, I have two hand brake assemblies (all parts including hand brake, cable and calipers) and two quick-release front wheels. I can also send any other part that I can remove from the stroller. I will send it to you for the cost of packing materials and postage. Let me know!

I folded up the stroller so it would take up less space in the garage during the parts-harvesting process and I told the kids that it was broken and we couldn't use it anymore. Everyone present was actually crying. We were all really attached to those stroller rides.

Hi! I just purchased a Dreamer Design double stroller from a consignment store and one of the front tires will not stay inflated, I think we need a new tube. Do you still have spare parts? Please email me at kcooner@hotmail.com
Thanks!
Kristy

Lost a front wheel during the mardi gras festivities this past weekend and was thrilled to see that you were selling spare parts. How much for a front wheel?

could I get a front wheel? My husband dropped one this weekend during mardi gras and we couldn't find it. I was so excited to see that you were offering your parts, I had it sitting out by the trash can and thought I would try this on a whim.

I can't email you back from a comment, but if you check back here, I do actually have TWO spare dreamer design front wheels (no tire or tube). I would be happy to send one your way for $5? plus shipping.

Hi there! I ran across this randomlly looking for a replacement cover the my entire jogger. I just bought it incredibly cheap yesterday because the lady left the stroller out in the sun at some point. It pretty much baked the slicker coating on some of the fabric. Stroller as-is is incredibly functional but it would be nice to have a better cover. If you happen to still have yours let me know. Looking forward to hearing from you.

wondering if you still have the canvas seating part of the stroller? mine is tearing away and almost unusable. i didn't know they were out of business - no wonder i was having trouble finding parts! anyway, please let me know. i understand its been a while since your first post. thanks. stephanie

I don't have the whole canvas seat as it is riveted to the frame. One would have to drill out the rivets to detach it. Plus the squirrels chewed up the first one in the shed. Gross...I know.

Kristi M - do you mean the rain shield or the canvas retractable awnings that go over the kids' seats?

Kristi M. said...

I was actually refering to the entire seating part as another poster was asking. Wow...how crazy is that. Two of us asking for the same thing a day apart. Do you have the rain shield or awenings that go over the seats and if you do, how much would you be asking for them? I may be interested. Thanks for getting back with me.

Sorry. No canvas seats. I still use the rain shield on a different stroller, but that should be pretty easy to use from another brand. You can get that from somewhere like www.joggingstroller.com

I think that you would be hard-pressed to get the old seats off in the first place. I used duct tape for a while.

Good to know. I really appreciate you getting back with me.

I am looking for the pieces that attach the front of the stroller to the wheel area. Here is a picture. I would take both if you have them and can get them off.

Thanks, Jenni

Sorry - I don't have any pieces that are part of the frame.

HI! I love my dreamer design but it's starting to show it's age. The two canvas canopies that cover the individual seats are in rough shape. Do you still have them? I only need the canvas part which not the frame which should make them easy to ship. Also, could you send/post a picture or tell me what kind of shape they are in so I know they are better than the ones I already have? Looking forward to hearing from you, Laura

do you still have any rear wheels. We have one that the spokes have rusted through on and it keeps puncturing the tube. Ours is 8 years old and has survived 5 kids and this is the only thing wrong with it. How much for the item and shipping?

Thanks,

7browntigers

Do you have any rear wheels left?

runningfor3 said...

Sorry. The only rear wheel that I could get off of my stroller was sent to NH a year ago. A bicycle mechanic at a bike shop may be able to fix your wheel. New spoke screws and/or new tape should prevent flats.

do you have the hard plastic piece that slides down in the back, behind the seat? Thanks

Do you have the part that connects from one side, to the other, to hold the canopy/sun blockers/shade up?

Hi Runningfor3 - Do you still have any Dreamer Design parts? I accidently hit my wife's stroller with my car and broke the plastic ring that holds a rear wheel steady as it connects to the frame of the stroller. If you do have parts, I will send a picture. Thanks so much.

I'm seeking a front wheel for my dreamer design single jog stroller (bearing went bad on my current one). Happy to pay for a reasonable replacement. Thanks! dxlipani@yahoo.com.

Does anyone know where i can get a replacement handle bar for the Dreamer Design? Mine broke at the hinge where you adjust the height of the handle bar.

I've never had a model with an adjustable handle, but if you can't fix it, you might try attaching a "Healthy Handle".

Hi there, and thanks for being nice enough to post this for others. Do you by any chance have the threaded bolt (metal + a plastic cap that engages the brake)that holds the rear wheel on?

Thanks.

I don't have any dreamer design wheels, but I have these:

Let me know if that helps. I'll send for the cost of shipping.
